I would like to note that speculating about any person’s ethnic or racial identity is generally a rude and unwelcome thing. I would also like to note my continued surprise that the people of Earth are wholly unaware of the potential physical appearances of a number of ethnic groups, mine included.
Essentially, I am uncertain as to what precisely one pictures when the label “Arabian” is colloquially applied to a person. To most Native English speakers, this label appears to encompass a very specific appearance of “people who speak Arabic.” May I assure you that it is, in fact, an extremely broad label encompassing many different groups of people, whose origins may range from my own North African roots to the Middle East and beyond. I would advise those of you who are not within these groups to please research a great deal more before you make decisions as to who and who is not “Arabian,” and to perhaps dispense with this word as a label for a large swath of humanity entirely. Your mental picture is simply not accurate, and I am personally uninterested in attempting to fit within it.Thank you.
(The least I can do is provide a polite worst day of their life.)
